Wesley's Notes for Genesis 2:16

2:16-17 Thou shall die - That is, thou shalt lose all the happiness thou hast either in possession or prospect; and thou shalt become liable to death, and all the miseries that preface and attend it. This was threatened as the immediate consequence of sin. In the day thou eatest, thou shalt die - Not only thou shalt become mortal, but spiritual death and the forerunners of temporal death shall immediately seize thee.

When the Lord Almighty Father commanded man to freely eat every fruits of trees in the Garden, these Trees are the trees that we saw in the field or in the mountain and in the backyard. Trees that bears fruits, fruits that we saw in the market, in the stores. The other Tree that is also in the midst of the garden was a forbidden fruit, fruits of knowledge of good and evil, if thou you touch it or eat it, thou shalt surely die. The tree of life, acknowledge the good and evil, a seed of disobedience to the law of God. Man separated from God and God wisdom, and separated from God 's spirit, man 's spirit die in connection to God 's spirit and lost. From then, man lives on human 's will instead of the God 's will because Adam and Eve while in the garden committed the mortal sin when the serpent seed was implanted in them. They were deceived by Satan, Lucifer.

first of all, dont hide my e-mail cause I want everyone to know what I am saying and I want a responce from anybody that cares to respond. Now what is my comment to Genesis 2:16---ok, the LORD said or commanded that we can eat from every tree accept Knowlege of good and evil. That to me includes Pot, Cocaine, Herion, Opium, Halusingens and/or any other mind altering trees such as things like coffee, tobacco, grapes, ect... So if this is true, than what gives another man the right to tell another man that he is not allowed to take, touch, eat, ingest, shoot, snort, smoke or otherwise have in possecion any tree other than the tree of knowledge of good and evil? As far as I am concerned, the law is stealing or taking something from me that God himself has given me and it is nobodies bussiness (cop or no cop)to tell me what I can and can't eat when the Good LORD himself commanded me that I may. By rights I can eat as much crack ar herion as I want, even to the point to where it kills me and that is nobodies bussiness but my own. So we need to fight for the right to have the freedom to do drugs if we was to keep in perspective of what the LORD is trying to accomplish for us. Let's not let the law makers play God anymore, what do you think about that?
