    Part 2 of 3 I know some scholars may argue that these are the Apostles mentioned but when you look closely at the scripture it states that James was Jesus Christ brother. Then the scripture states those other apostles and the Lord s Jesus Christ who is both Lord and Christ brothers, and then Cephas who was called Simon . Joseph was the stepfather of Jesus Christ. The definition of Stepfather is a man married to a woman with children but is not the children s biological father. Even though he was not Jesus Christ biological father people still recognized him as Joseph s son, Luke 4 22.
