Barbara, there is severe punishment ( Hell Fire) if the person does turn from their evil ways, and turn to the living God and ask for forgiveness for their sins that they have committed, God is merciful and will forgive that person if they will turn to the Almighty God and repent of their evil ways.

As Confirmed Salvation is a Free Gift that we can't Earn or Loose if we do have it and we will show if we do or if we don't. The Holy Spirit will Empower us to be able to Work out our Salvation Romans8 but this does not mean we Work for it. The jew believe in the law to make heaven but Paul is trying to make them understand what they are doing is self righteousness. Salvation is by faith through Jesus christ. Paul is trying to let the Jews understand that if you are a born again, you are all equal in the sight of God either Jews or Gentiles.

The Bible already covered this. The answer is no, you can't just do whatever evil you want assuming you're covered by grace and expect to get into heaven. Matthew 7:21, Romans 6:1, John 14:15. Even satan believes, so believing isn't enough. A Christian must follow Jesus which is an active role, not passive. Revelation 3:16. Satan has deceived people into believing they can sin all they want and don't have to be obedient or follow Jesus. The Bible refutes that.

So I am hearing the law and works mean nothing, so why not do what you want? Jesus said to the apostles go out and preach to the gentiles. AND THOSE WHO WILL RECEIVE YOU STAY. Dear Judeth, when we understand God's Heart of Love we will understand His Truth. Jesus said Ask, Seek and Knock He is our only Spiritual Teacher not a Man or Woman although He my use them. He will lead us into all Truth which will be confirmed in Scripture. Please read Galatians 3:28 in context and John3:16. God is Love, He Knows those who are His and not one will be lost He protects our Souls.

Paul was simply warning the Galatians to not be pulled in by the Judaizers with their false works based salvation gospel. Because salvation is by Grace through Faith in Jesus Christ and nothing else. Obedience is not what saves us or keeps us saved it is the trust and reliance in what Jesus did for us on the cross. When we place our faith anywhere else we trample the blood of Christ under foot.

I think Jesus is saying that we are all gods magistrates angels who have been led away captive by satan to live in exile on this earth, but that when we are converted then we are once again REconciled to Him as one! jonathankleck youtube you are exiles explains it better.

Can someone help me and explain Galatians 3:1-29. I can read it, but to fully understand it I can't. Or if you know of a commentary that does just this, would be great. I've found some, but it doesn't read like a story so I can relate. Thank you
