I read some of it. I don't know where you live or what you face on a daily basis. I do know God cares about what offends us; because Jesus said offenses would come.

We choose, on daily basis, what we are willing to live for; and die for. Romans 1:20 clearly says that people are without EXCUSE. There is no way to justify doing things contrary to what the Bible says. It's not written in confusion and contrariness.

People always try to have Dominion over other men; women; no matter race, color, religion. God DID NOT give man / woman, dominion over people. And yet, since the beginning, that is what has happened throughout the history of time! It is sinful. We are without excuse. In sin, we turn away and do our own pleasure.

It's going to end badly. Look at United States: if we get rid of police enforcement; we are wide open for a form of martial laws.

Non-Christian people do not see this coming! Hot-headed and clueless. Wicked people in the shadows are orchestrating the progression of what is happening. Now is a time to pray for SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT; of the Wicked spirits that are the engine driving people to the end of this age. It's time to grab onto Jesus and not let go.

The Lord showed me Matthew 24: 2, 4, 11-13. I had only asked Him, how is USA with all its pride going to be made to BOW it's knee. Time to switch gears because we are running out of time!

The harvest is ripe and we are called to be His Workers. Load the Ark. How hard is that? Switch gears. We have go with the Gospel that is inside of us; written in our hearts!

Does Jesus love all those hothead people? Yep. If we preach...they will repent and pray the prayer. We can't sit this out in a foxhole ?!?!?

How the heck do we get Christians to change gears? Pray to the Lord of the Harvest! Don't you feel any urgency?

    Work the Prayer Request room.

    Forget Noah-ides. Irrelevant.

Is it proper for a human being to kill an animal for consumption without praying and in a brutal way such as cracking the skull with an ax?
  • Chris on Genesis 1:25 - 5 years ago
I understand that God's view on such a marriage would still be based on his Plan for the union of man & woman throughout the ages. And that is: "Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder." ( Mt 19:6). Your love, commitment, faithfulness, promises to your wife & consummation of the marriage is what the Lord would require in holy wedlock. The fact of an unordained (unlicenced?) minister officiating the marriage as an 'event' is insignificant. But if you then have the marriage legalized by a notary or another authorized civil servant, then the marriage becomes legal in the eyes of the State.

Another way of looking at it would be: the Law requires you to have that 'special' piece of paper to prove a marriage - God requires you to lovingly commit & consummate your decision to marry, as a holy & binding marriage.

    Loving Discipline

In our text today we see Lord destroying and restoring Israel showing that God disciplines those He loves. Our Lord is not a mean judgmental God looking for you to make mistakes so he can pounce on you but rather a loving father who lovingly disciplines His children. How about you? Do you see your Lord as a loving Father? Let us learn from our text today and the example of Israel to see that our Lord loves us and disciplines us just as a Loving Father disciplines His Children.

Seun, the Lords prayer asks to not be led into temptation so why should we present an opportunity to lead ourselves into temptation? I am an old man. The wisdom of my age tells me to say no you should not because it could lead to temptation to sin. Were you going there to try to meet a mate? If so, that is a bad place to look for a mate. God bless you and I pray for wisdom in your decision.

In this chapter we see Amos bringing the Word of God but the people had no appetite for it because of their apathy. How about you? Do you see the Word of God for the answers in your life. Let us learn from our text today and the direction of Amos to see that the Bible holds all the answers to the questions we have in how to live our lives.

    Obey Your Calling

In this chapter we see the visions of judgement the Lord gave Amos. What catches my eye is how Amos obeyed God's call to prophesy unto the people of Israel even though he did not have the education or training to accomplish the task, he simply obeyed the Lord. In making application we see a call to obedience. By Faith we are do what the Lord instructs us in His Power through the Holy Spirit. How about you? Do you allow your feeling of inadequacy keep you from obeying the Lord? Let us learn from our text today and life of Amos who followed the Lord even when he felt inadequate simply because he followed his calling by simple obedience.

  • Patty Tozi on Amos 6 - 5 years ago
The Lord is my Shepard. I shall not want.

Always remember the Giant God that watches over us. His spirit is all around us. He knows when we are Lonely..Hurting..sad.. Wanting Him close. His Love has such depth that it could move the tallest heaviest mountain. His Light so strong it blinds you. Been to Heaven..saw truth in Him. Saw His Heavenly Son fighting for me. He is real. The Bible...His words to take care of us..His creations..is Strong truth who He is...and what He wants for us..the evilness of this world is now being shown strong...fight as we never fought before. Who do you choose? Think...think heavy...Decide now. The power of His words.. The Blood of His Son...The suffering of His Son...fighting and dying for our Sins--should be enough to turn to Him as never before. Fight we must...Fight as the evilness tries and take Him from us. On your knees with your Bible..Fight...Fight...you must as the days become as His words warned us in Revelation. God's people must never turn back. Remember His words.. A brighter tomorrow we will have!!!

Esther 8:17 and many of the people of the land became Jews.

If the people of the land "became Jews" it wasn't by blood, so it must have been ceremonial and believing in the true God. Were they then part of the nation of Isreal that can claim promises from God?

It's about communion. Every 1st Sunday in Church we had communion, we are to show the LORD's death toll he returns. Confess sins, only God can take away. Haven't had communion since lock down. How should I have communion at home, should I have it at home and why can't I have it at home? I am a Christian not a Catholic it makes a difference to me.

I await your answer. But in the mean time I will check my

    Bible.

    Susannah, Matthew 13:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children OF of the wicked one;

1 John 3:12 Not as Cain, who was OF of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.

So is Adam the wicked one? The denominational church world does not seem to know....

  • Susannah on Deuteronomy 2 - 5 years ago
I was taught that the ones Jesus was talking to from the cross were the children of the first liar and murderer. (Cain) The ones who pretended to be Jews from the first by attaching themselves to them by getting to be the scribes of Judah. (woe to you scribes and Pharisees). Kenites are who he is referring to. They still try to put themselves in the place of God's people. Just the way satan always tries to assume God's place (the reason he was kicked out in the first place). He will return trying to take the Messiah's place as the anti Christ. Cain. Ever questioned why Cain's not in Adam's genealogy? A poser isn't it?
