8And it came to passe that on the morrow Moses went into the Tabernacle of Witnesse, and behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Leui was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossomes, and yeelded almonds. 9And Moses brought out all the rods from before the Lord, vnto all the children of Israel: and they looked, and tooke euery man his rod. 10¶ And the Lord said vnto Moses, Bring Aarons rod againe before the Testimony, to be kept for a token against the rebels, and thou shalt quite take away their murmurings from me, that they die not. 11And Moses did so: as the Lord commanded him, so did he. 12And the children of Israel spake vnto Moses, saying, Behold, wee die, we perish, we all perish.

17:10 To be kept for a token - it is probable, the buds and blossoms and fruit, all which could never have grown together, but by miracle, continued fresh, the same which produced them in a night preserving them for ages.
