1And he entred againe into the Synagogue, and there was a man there which had a withered hand: 2And they watched him, whether hee would heale him on the Sabbath day, that they might accuse him. 3And he saith vnto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth. 4And hee saith vnto them, Is it lawfull to doe good on the Sabbath dayes, or to doe euill? to saue life, or to kill? but they held their peace.

3:2 And they - The scribes and Pharisees, watched him, that they might accuse him - Pride, anger, and shame, after being so often put to silence, began now to ripen into malice.
