We should pray for our seed i.e. our Children and grandchildren that none of them will become a tool in the hands of satan. Amalek was a grandson of Esau and he 'via HAMAN through bloodline ' so hated the Israelites so much that he wanted to wipe them out of existence but for divine providence through Esther and Mordecai. Indeed God is wiser than us when He commands us not to be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. Esau and Jacob twins were of the same seed of Abraham but Esau 's wives were from ungodly, polluted bloodline and produced the spiritual 'monster ' called Amalek, the ARCH enemy of Israel. May our seed not produce the Anti Christ or any of his cohorts in Jesus Name.

    Tim....it is 2 different Korahs

In 36:5 the Korah referred to here is son of Aholibamah and Esau
In 36:16 the Korah referred to here is son of Eliphaz. Eliphaz is Esau's son with Adah, hence the Bible says Korah is son of Adah (meaning of her lineage -her grandson)

5 And Aholibamah bare Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah: these [are] the sons of Esau

16 Duke Korah, duke Gatam, [and] duke Amalek: these [are] the dukes [that came] of Eliphaz in the land of Edom

Because of the list of siblings I concluded - two different persons with the same name.

36:16 Says Duke Korah is the son of Adah.
36:5 Says Korah is the son of Aholibamah.

In writing down all the genealogy I found this discrepancy, I assume 36:5 is correct. Any info?

JACOB stole ESAU birthright -Yet GOD still provided blessings for ESAU and his generations.

GOD knows what we need before we ask. Therefore, you may ask for one blessing, but don't overlook the blessing GOD wants you to have.
