16:10 Without fear - Of any one's despising him for his youth. For he worketh the work of the Lord - The true ground of reverence to pastors. Those who do so, none ought to despise.

1Co 16:10 Now if Timotheus come. We learn that Timothy and Erastus had been sent to Macedonia, and Timothy was instructed to stop at Corinth on the way (Ac 19:22 1Co 4:17). See that he may be with you without fear. Paul asks that he be kindly received.
